It is difficult to comprehend that it has been a year since my beautiful mother, Jeanette Campbell was killed by a distracted driver who chose his cell phone over a life.
Within my grief, I am beyond grateful that my sister and her children survived the crash. They made it to the Emergency Room. Thanks to the care and support of first responders, hospital caregivers and staff and so many more, I am able to make new memories with my surviving family every day as we hold Jeanette in our broken hearts.
July was a difficult month. In an effort to remember Jeanette and her selfless giving spirit, our family is sponsoring a Pajamas for Trauma drive. During the months of July through September, we will be collecting and assembling care bags for children in the ER experiencing trauma.
Jeanette would have done anything to comfort a child in need. She often sewed pajamas as an expression of love and it is in her honor that we assemble care bags featuring children’s pajamas and other comforting items.
If you are able to help, we would be so grateful. Thank you for all of your continued support. Our community is so appreciated!
